My financial strategy of keeping all of my money in my checking account has been mocked and ridiculed for years. Hah! I bet all of you financial geniuses wish you had my 0.10% return right now, don’t you?

Not so much. I've put most of my money in paying off the mortgage (5.3% APR) and gold.

I sold all of my Halliburton when the Democrats to control of Congress in 2006 and left the proceeds in my checking account.

Maybe gold would have been a stronger investment, or better yet, NALBS.
My advisor put me in cardboard at $2.00 a ton, now it's at $6.00 !!
Had to store it myself to get such a great deal, yeah, I had two tons.
